Apple equals cool. That’s the statement you make when you buy the MacBook Pro, Macintosh laptop computer with their ultra cool uni-body chassis machined from a single piece of aluminum. You suddenly get s better understanding as to why these computers are not only a serious piece of computing technology but also great fashion accessory.
The MacBook Pro uses a highly powered Core 2 Processor which is clocked anywhere up to 3″Ghz with a minimum of 4GB of RAM memory with various sized hard drives available, making this a very capable unit in a keen price range against Windows based Laptops such as the HP Pavilion dv6 or the Toshiba Satellite A500.
There are many positive aspects to owning one of these computers including the great battery life to the MacBook Pro which is anywhere up to 260 minutes, the easy to use snow leopard operating system, its compatibility with other apple products including the iPhone, iPod and soon to be available iPad.
The only real issue with the MacBook Pro is weight. To pack this much performance and have such a high build quality Apple Macintosh can’t get away from this unit weighing in at about 3 kilograms with battery which is quite heavy for the size of this unit.
If you can’t live without some form of windows, there are two great options available. Bootcamp is already available on the Macintosh laptop which allows you to go into Windows upon booting up the system or a great program called Parralles which sets up a virtual Machine within the Snow Leopard Operating system. I recommend installing the Window 7 operating system which seems to be the smoothest running of the systems within the virtual machine.
The Mac Book Pro comes in three sizes being the 13″ 15″ and 17″. They all have the same high powered CPU and RAM. The Specifications for theses models are excellent in comparison to similar Windows based laptops. Overall I believe the MacBook Pro to be an excellent multimedia and Business Laptop Computer for everyday needs.
